EMPHASIS: Troop G Releases Saturation Results


Captain Billy E. Chadwick, commanding officer of Troop G, releases the following information:

A total of 40 summonses and 39 warnings were issued in conjunction with a DWI saturation conducted in Howell County on April 24 on U.S. Highway 63 and U.S. Highway 160. Totals from this saturation include:

1 -- misdemeanor DWI arrest
4 -- speed summonses
13 -- seat belt summonses
4 -- other hazardous moving violation summonses
4 -- non-moving summonses
12 -- no-insurance summonses
2 -- minor-in-possession summonses

Captain Chadwick says, “Please don’t drink and drive, wear your seat belt, and always exercise the highest degree of care when you get behind the wheel.”
