EMPHASIS: Results Of Ten-Mile Trooper


Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H in St. Joseph announces the results of a two-day enforcement operation in Troop H. The 10-Mile trooper operation was conducted on Interstate 29 on May 22, 2009 and May 25, 2009.
The following are the totals from the program:
Speed (trucks) -- 3
Speed (cars) -- 151
Failed to yield -- 1
Seat belt -- 14
Child restraint -- 3
Following too close -- 3
Other hazardous motor vehicle -- 4
Non-moving -- 10
Driver’s license -- 6
Misdemeanor drug -- 2
Misdemeanor warrant -- 1
Other misdemeanor offense -- 1
Recovered stolen vehicle --1
Other felony arrest -- 1
Troopers also worked five traffic crashes during the operation and wrote 345 warnings.
