EMPHASIS: Criminal Enforcement Results


Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H in St. Joseph, announces the results of a criminal interdiction enforcement program.
On May 3 and 4, 2008, Troop H conducted a criminal interdiction enforcement operation designed to focus on criminal activity upon the highway. Six troopers were assigned to the two-day, 16-hour program. The officers worked on Interstate 35 in the Troop H and Troop A areas.
Troopers made 27 arrests and issued 80 warnings. The arrest totals included, 12 misdemeanor drug arrests, two misdemeanor warrant arrests, one felony arrest, five speeding violations, one seat belt violation, one failed to yield, one non-moving violation, one uninsured motorist violation, and three driver’s license violations.
Troopers stopped a total of 61 non-commercial vehicles and five commercial vehicles.
