EMPHASIS: Troop G Releases Results Of S.T.E.P./Hazardous Moving Operations


Captain Billy E. Chadwick, commanding officer of Troop G, releases the following information:

A total of 130 arrests and 61 warnings were issued in conjunction with three S.T.E.P./Hazardous Moving Violations Operations held in Troop G, April 18, 19, and 20, 2008. These operations were held in Shannon County at the intersection of Missouri Highway 19 and Missouri Route A.
These combined totals include: two misdemeanor DWI arrests, 36 seat belt arrests, two child restraint arrests, nine driver’s license arrests, and 16 uninsured motorist arrests. Officers also made six felony drug arrests, 50 misdemeanor drug arrests, two misdemeanor warrant arrests, and seven non-moving arrests.
