EMPHASIS: Troop A Announces Promotions

Captain Eric T. Olson, commanding officer of Troop A, Lee's Summit, announces the following promotions for Troop A:

Effective January 1, 2015, Corporal Cody G. Dunfee was promoted to the rank of sergeant and designated the zone supervisor of Zone 10, which serves Saline County. Dunfee was appointed to the Patrol on October 17, 2004, as part of the 83rd Recruit Class. After graduating from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy, he was assigned to Troop A, Zone 14, serving Bates County. In March 2011, he was promoted to corporal and transferred to Clay County. He also serves as a member of the Troop A SWAT team.

Dunfee was born in Oklahoma. He graduated from Cassville High School in 2001. Before joining the Patrol, he attended Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Missouri. Sergeant Dunfee and his wife, Lindsay (Rickman), who is also from Cassville, have two children.

Effective February 1, 2015, Trooper Kimberly D. Davis was promoted to the rank of corporal and designated the assistant zone supervisor of Zone 3, which serves Clay County. Davis was appointed to the Missouri State Highway Patrol following the merger with the Missouri State Water Patrol on January 1, 2011. She was formerly assigned to the Missouri State Water Patrol and began recruit training on January 3, 1999, as part of the Water Patrol's 29th Recruit Class. After graduating from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy, she was assigned to Smithville Lake. She is currently assigned to Zone 3, which includes marine operations duties at Smithville Lake.

Davis (née Lilleman) was born in Warrensburg, Missouri. She graduated from Lafayette County C-1 High School, Higginsville, Missouri, in 1995. Before joining the Patrol, she attended University of Central Missouri where she earned a bachelor's of science degree in criminal justice. Corporal Davis and her husband, Scott, who is originally from Centerville, Iowa, have two children.
