EMPHASIS: Results Of Sobriety Saturation In Franklin County


Captain Ronald S. Johnson, commanding officer of Troop C, Weldon Spring, announces the results of a driving while intoxicated saturation conducted on Friday, March 15, 2013, in Franklin County. Four Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers conducted the enforcement operation during the eight-hour project. The following enforcement contacts were made:

Felony DWI -- 1 arrest
Speed -- 6 summonses
Careless and Imprudent Driving -- 2 summonses
Seat Belt -- 9 summonses
Child Restraint -- 1 summons
Uninsured Motorists -- 5 summonses
Non-Moving Violations -- 2 summonses
Other Hazardous Moving -- 1 summons
Driving While Revoked -- 2 summonses
Misdemeanor Warrant -- 2 arrests
Felony Warrant -- 1 arrest
Warnings -- 27

“Sobriety saturations are very important in making our highways a safer place to travel,” stated Captain Johnson. “Troop C officers will be conducting various special enforcement operations throughout 2013 with a goal of reducing traffic crashes and saving lives.”

The Patrol encourages motorists and watercraft operators to protect themselves by making sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint and everyone in the vessel is wearing an approved life jacket. Click It 4 Life and Wear It!!!
