EMPHASIS: Driving While Intoxicated Saturations In July
Captain Robert L. Powell, commanding officer of Troop A, announces that sometime during the month of July, driving while intoxicated saturations will be conducted in Jackson, Platte, and Clay counties.
The saturations are part of the continuing effort by the Missouri State Highway Patrol to remove intoxicated drivers from the highways. Members of the Highway Patrol will concentrate their efforts on highways based on a high number of alcohol-related crashes and enforcement contacts.
Captain Powell stated, “Do not let your life or someone else’s life be ruined by an alcohol-related crash or arrest. If you are going to drink, please do not drive.”
