EMPHASIS: Results of MCSAP-SAFETE Project in Troop F


Captain Dale A. Schmidt, commanding officer, Troop F Headquarters, Jefferson City, announced today the results of several MCSAP-SAFETE Projects that were held throughout the Troop F area during August of 2008. During the operation a total of 40 non-commercial vehicles and 77 commercial vehicles were stopped. A total of 28 vehicles were inspected with one placed out of service. The following is a list of enforcement contacts during the operation:

Speeding Violations: 9
Other Hazardous Moving Violations: 1
Seatbelt Violations: 14
Non-Moving Violations: 8
Driver License Violations: 1
No Insurance Violations: 3
Misdemeanor Arrest: 1
Commercial Vehicle Violations: 17
Drug Arrests: 2
Warnings Issued: 163
