EMPHASIS: New Trooper Assigned To Boone County


Captain Gregory D. Kindle, commanding officer, Troop F, Missouri State Highway Patrol, has announced that Trooper Eric K. Lanxon has been assigned to Troop F, Zone 10, which encompasses Boone County. Trooper Lanxon was appointed to the Patrol on January 16, 2013, as a member of the 96th Recruit Class, which graduated from the Patrol Academy on July 12, 2013.
Trooper Lanxon is a 1995 graduate of Newell-Fonda High School, in Newell, Iowa. In 2001, he graduated from Garden City Community College, in Garden City, Kansas, with an associate’s degree in science. He has served with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves since 2002. He is a gunnery sergeant serving as a defense specialist in Kansas City, Missouri. Trooper Lanxon and his wife, Brenda (Utz), have two children.
Trooper Lanxon will begin his new assignment on July 29, 2013. He will work under the supervision of Sergeant Matthew J. Broniec; his field training officer will be Corporal Matthew T. Halford.
