EMPHASIS: Troop G Releases DWI Saturation Totals

Captain Dwayne F. Isringhausen, commanding officer of Troop G, releases the following information:

A total of 23 arrests and 22 warnings were issued in conjunction with a DWI saturation conducted in Howell County on June 26, 2011. The designated highways for this saturation were U.S. Highway 63, and U.S. Highway 160. Totals from this saturation include:

9 -- speeding summonses
6 -- seat belt summonses
1 -- child restraint summons
1 -- non-moving summons
2 -- driver's license summonses
3 -- uninsured motorist summonses
1 -- misdemeanor drug arrest

Captain Isringhausen says, "DWI saturations are one tool that the Missouri State Highway Patrol uses in order to make our roadways a safer place for Missouri's motorists. Please be careful when behind the wheel and never drink and drive."
