EMPHASIS: Results Of DWI Checkpoint In Cole County


Captain Dale A. Schmidt, commanding officer, Troop F Headquarters, Jefferson City, announced today the results of a driving while intoxicated checkpoint that was held in Cole County on September 27, 2008. During the operation a total of 130 vehicles were stopped. The following is a list of enforcement contacts during the operation:
Driving While Intoxicated: 5
Speeding: 3
Other Hazardous Moving: 1
Seatbelt Violations: 8
Non-Moving Violations: 1
Careless/Imprudent: 1
Driver License Violations: 6
Misdemeanor Drug Arrest: 2
Warnings Issued: 51
