EMPHASIS: Captain Ridens Announces The Promotion Of Corporal Clark D. Parrott

Captain George E. Ridens, commanding officer of Troop E, Poplar Bluff, is pleased to announce the promotion of Corporal Clark D. Parrott to the rank of sergeant. Sergeant Parrott will remain in his current assignment as the Troop E public information and education officer, which serves 13 counties in Southeast Missouri.

Parrott joined the Patrol on October 20, 2002, as a member of the 80th Recruit Class. Upon graduating from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy in Jefferson City, he was assigned to Troop H, Zone 4, Mercer, Grundy, and Livingston counties. In March 2008, he transferred to Troop E, Zone 8, Pemiscot and New Madrid counties. In 2011, he was named the Troop E public information and education officer. He was promoted to the rank of corporal on June 1, 2013. Sergeant Parrott and his wife Michele (Bowles) have three children and one son in-law, Jordan and husband Klayton, Natalie, and Hunter.

In support of "The Drive To ZERO Highway Deaths," the Patrol encourages motorists to protect themselves and their passengers by making sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint. Watercraft operators should ensure that everyone in the vessel is wearing an approved life jacket. Click It 4 Life And Wear It!!
