EMPHASIS: Results Of DWI Saturation In Buchanan County


Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H in St. Joseph, announces the results of a driving while intoxicated saturation held on August 29, 2008, in Buchanan County.
Troopers arrested three intoxicated drivers and issued 19 summonses and 51 warnings during the eight-hour operation. Troopers also arrested a driver for felony driving while intoxicated. A total of 35 vehicles were stopped for violations.
Captain Robinson stated, “The saturation has become a part of a statewide program to target impaired drivers.”
