EMPHASIS: Captain Ellis Announces Promotion Of Corporal Andrew J. Bell


Captain V. J. Ellis, commanding officer, Troop A, announced effective December 9, 2007, the promotion of Trooper Andrew J. Bell to corporal. Corporal Bell will be the assistant zone supervisor assigned to Zone 8, Lafayette County.
Cpl. Bell joined the Patrol as a member of the 80th Recruit Class graduating in May 2003. Upon graduating from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy in Jefferson City he was assigned to Troop A, Zone 11, Cass County.
Cpl. Bell was born in Kansas City, Missouri. He graduated from Camdenton High School in Camdenton, Missouri, in 1995. Cpl. Bell worked for the Missouri State Water Patrol before joining the Highway Patrol.
