Troop G reported zero fatal traffic crashes, and investigated two alcohol-related traffic crashes, one non-injury boating crash, and 13 traffic crashes on C.A.R.E. designated highways. Troopers made 675 arrests and issued 679 warnings in Troop G in the course of the weekend. Enforcement totals include:

8 -- DWI Arrests (alcohol)
338 -- Speed Summonses
126 -- Seat Belt Summonses
6 -- Child Restraint Summonses

182 -- Other Arrests

Additionally, officers provided assistance to 191 motorists.

Captain Isringhausen says, “The Labor Day holiday weekend is a time for families to enjoy the last getaway of the summer. However, it can be a tragic time when drivers do not give their complete attention to their driving. I want to thank the public for their safe driving efforts and remind everyone to always buckle their safety belt.”

The Patrol encourages motorists and watercraft operators to protect themselves by making sure that everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint and everyone in the vessel is wearing an approved life jacket. Click It 4 Life and Wear It!!!
