EMPHASIS: Troop G Announces Saturation Results


Captain Dwayne F. Isringhausen, commanding officer of Troop G, releases the following information:

A total of 17 arrests and 13 warnings were issued in conjunction with a DWI saturation conducted in Texas County on August 16, 2013. The designated highways for this saturation were U.S. Highway 60 and U.S. Highway 63. Totals from this saturation include:

1 -- felony DWI arrest
1 -- misdemeanor DWI arrest
1 -- C&I summons
4 -- speed summonses
2 -- seat belt summonses
1 -- failed to yield summons
1 -- other hazardous moving violation summons
3 -- non-moving summonses
2 -- driving while suspended/revoked summonses
1 -- uninsured motorist summons

Captain Isringhausen says, “DWI saturations are one tool that the Missouri State Highway Patrol uses in order to make our roadways a safer place for Missouri’s motorists. Please be careful when behind the wheel and never drink and drive.”

The Missouri State Highway Patrol encourages motorists and watercraft operators to protect themselves by making sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint and everyone in the vessel is wearing an approved life jacket. Click It 4 Life and Wear It!!!
