EMPHASIS: Hazardous Moving Operation In Troop H

Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H in St. Joseph, announces that Troop H will conduct a hazardous moving operation in the near future. The focus of the operation is to take enforcement action on hazardous drivers who follow too closely or fail to move to the left when an emergency vehicle is stopped. Additionally, the Patrol will continue its zero tolerance policy for seat belt and child restraint violations. These hazardous violations contribute to vehicle crashes and place other motorists in danger.
To report aggressive driving, motorists can use the Patrol’s toll free emergency telephone numbers. They are 1-800-525-5555 or cellular *55.
