EMPHASIS: Troop G Releases Results Of Sobriety Checkpoint/DWI Saturation


Captain Dwayne F. Isringhausen, commanding officer of Troop G, releases the following information:

A total of 37 arrests and 115 warnings were issued in conjunction with a sobriety checkpoint conducted in Howell County on July 6, 2012, near the intersection of U.S. Highway 63 and Missouri Route 17. Totals from this checkpoint include:

1-- felony DWI arrest
4-- misdemeanor DWI arrests
2-- seat belt summonses
1-- child restraint summons
3-- commercial vehicle enforcement summonses
7-- non-moving summonses
4-- no driver’s license summonses
2-- driving while suspended/driving while revoked summonses
8-- uninsured motorist summonses
3-- misdemeanor drug arrests
1-- misdemeanor warrant arrest
1-- minor-in-possession summons

A total of 19 arrests and 30 warnings were issued in conjunction with a DWI Saturation conducted in Texas County on July 7, 2012. The designated highways for this saturation were U.S. Highway 60, U.S. Highway 63, U.S. Business 60, and Missouri Route MM. Totals from this saturation include:

1-- misdemeanor DWI arrest
2-- speed summonses
9-- seat belt summonses
1-- child restraint summons
1-- non-moving summons
1-- driving while suspended/driving while revoked summons
1-- uninsured motorist summons
1-- minor-in-possession summons
1-- misdemeanor drug arrest
1-- misdemeanor warrant arrest
