EMPHASIS: Troop I Announces Boating Safety Enforcement Operation

Captain Lee Ann H. Kenley, commanding officer of Troop I, announces that sometime this week Troop I officers will participate in a special enforcement operation in Crawford County. The emphasis of the operation will be the detection of those individuals who are operating either a motor vehicle or water vessel while intoxicated.
Captain Kenley stated, “No one should have to travel a Missouri highway or waterway with the fear that an impaired driver or operator may put their life or the lives of their family in jeopardy. Protecting those on our roads, lakes, and streams from these unsafe practices will always be a priority. To that end, we will strictly and vigilantly enforce all Missouri laws.”
