EMPHASIS: Troop E Officers To Conduct Hazardous Moving Operations

Captain George E. Ridens, commanding officer of Troop E, Poplar Bluff, announces that sometime during the month of June 2015, Troop E officers will conduct a hazardous moving vehicle operation in Butler County. The operations will be conducted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol in cooperation with local law enforcement agencies. The hazardous moving operation is designed to target vehicles that are being operated in an unsafe manner.

In support of "The Drive To ZERO Highway Deaths," the Patrol encourages motorists to protect themselves and their passengers by making sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint. Watercraft operators should ensure that everyone in the vessel is wearing an approved life jacket. Click It 4 Life And Wear It!!
