EMPHASIS: Results of Hazardous Moving Operation


Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H in St. Joseph, announces the results of a special operation. The hazardous moving operation was conducted on June 25, 2009, in Harrison County and is designed to target vehicles that are being operated in a hazardous manner.
A total of five troopers were assigned to the four-hour program. Troopers issued 27 summonses, and 40 warnings to motorists, and made one misdemeanor arrest. The breakdown of the arrests is as follows:
Misdemeanor Warrant Arrest-- 1
Speed -- 22
Uninsured Motorists-- 1
Seat Belt -- 3
Other Hazardous Moving-- 1
