EMPHASIS: Patrol Announces Promotion.



Captain Juan Villanueva, commanding officer, Troop D, is pleased to announce effective December 1, 2008, Corporal Jason M. Pace, Troop D, Recruiter, was promoted to the rank of sergeant. He will remain in his current position.
Pace was born in Rolla, Missouri, and graduated from Houston High School in 1989. He attended Harding University, in Searcy, Arkansas, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. In 1995, he graduated from Missouri State University with a master’s degree in public administration. Appointed to the Patrol in 1997, Pace was assigned to Troop I, Laclede County. In January 2001, he transferred to Troop D, Springfield, Zone 1, Greene County. In 2004, Pace was assigned as full-time recruiter, Troop D, with responsibilities covering four troops. In 2005, Pace was promoted to corporal, remaining a full-time recruiter, a position he has held since.
Sergeant Pace is married to Jennifer (Decker), and together they have three children, Blake, (9), Brooke, (7), and Blaire (2).
