EMPHASIS: Troop I Announces DWI Saturation

Captain James W. Remillard, commanding officer of Troop I, announces that sometime during the month of December troopers assigned to Troop I will conduct a DWI saturation patrol in Laclede County. Troopers assigned to this special enforcement operation will patrol those highways where in the past a higher number of alcohol-related arrests and traffic crashes have occurred.
Captain Remillard would like to remind motorists that they can report highway emergencies and serious traffic offenses to the nearest troop headquarters by dialing *55 on your cellular telephone.
In support of “The Drive To ZERO Highway Deaths,” the Patrol encourages motorists to protect themselves and their passengers by making sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child seat. Watercraft operators should ensure that everyone in the vessel is wearing an approved life jacket. Click It 4 Life And Wear It!!
