EMPHASIS: Results Of DWI Saturation In St. Louis County


Captain Ronald S. Johnson, commanding officer of Troop C, St. Louis, announces the results of a driving while intoxicated saturation conducted on April 3, 2010, in St. Louis County. Four Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers conducted the enforcement operation during the eight-hour project.

As a result of the enforcement program, a total of 33 arrests were made and 34 warnings were issued. Of the 33 arrests, three subjects were arrested for driving while intoxicated.

“Sobriety saturations continue to be effective in removing intoxicated drivers from our roadways,” stated Captain Johnson. “Troop C officers will continue to conduct various special enforcement operations throughout 2010, with a goal of reducing traffic crashes and saving lives on Missouri roadways.”
