EMPHASIS: Human Remains Discovered In Moniteau County Identified


On Saturday, August 9, 2014, human remains were discovered by a hunter in rural Moniteau County, near Enon, Missouri. As a result of the discovery, the Missouri State Highway Patrol's Division of Drug and Crime Control and the Moniteau County Sheriff's Office initiated an investigation. The result of an examination of dental records confirmed the remains are those of Cody Odean Thirlwall, 32, of Jefferson City, Missouri. The cause and circumstances surrounding Mr. Thirlwall's death remain under investigation.
