EMPHASIS: Patrol Urges Motorists Not To Travel

Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H in St. Joseph, urges motorists to avoid traveling on the highways in Northwest Missouri. Motorists should travel only when it is absolutely necessary. The highways in Northwest Missouri are ice and snow packed with high winds blowing snow back onto the roadway, making travel very difficult. Temperatures are expected to fall below zero tonight, which is expected to compound the problem.
