EMPHASIS: Troop H Announces Results Of Hazardous Moving Operation


Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H in St. Joseph, announces the results of a special operation conducted on September 19, 2009, in Grundy and Livingston counties. The focus of the operation is drivers who are operating a motor vehicle in a hazardous manner.
The enforcement program was conducted on U.S. Highway 65, and consisted of five troopers. The program was four hours in length. A total of 10 citations were issued during the program. This total includes: one driving while intoxicated arrest, four speed violations, one uninsured motorist, one hazardous moving violation, two seat belt violations, and one minor in possession of alcohol. Troopers also issued a total of 68 warnings during this operation.
