EMPHASIS: Results Of Traffic Enforcement Operations In Henry County


Captain Robert L. Powell, commanding officer of Troop A, announces the results of two traffic enforcement operations that were conducted in Henry County on August 29, 2008, and September 1, 2008. The goal of the operations was to positively impact traffic problems by reducing traffic crashes on all major routes in Henry County.
On August 29, 2008, as a result of the 12-hour operation, three officers issued a total of 21 citations, made one felony warrant arrest and one felony driving while intoxicated arrest, and issued three warnings.
On September 1, 2008, as a result of the 12-hour operation, three officers issued a total of 39 citations and 14 warnings.
