EMPHASIS: Troop H Announces Results Of A DWI Saturation


Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H, announces the results of a DWI saturation conducted on September 28, 2013, in Nodaway County. The location was selected due to an elevated number of alcohol-related traffic crashes and impaired drivers.
The following is a list of enforcement contacts made during the operation.
DWI -- 1
Speed Violations -- 5
Seat Belt Violations -- 2
Hazardous Moving Violations-- 1
Uninsured Motorists -- 2
No Driver's License -- 1
Non-Moving -- 3
Warnings -- 32
Captain Robinson stated, “The Missouri State Highway Patrol is tasked with highway safety. Conducting the DWI saturations is an effective approach to making Missouri's highways a safer place for motorists.”
The Patrol encourages motorists and watercraft operators to protect themselves by making sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint and everyone in the vessel is wearing an approved life jacket. Click It and Wear It!
