EMPHASIS: DWI Saturations In September

Captain Robert L. Powell, commanding officer of Troop A, Lee’s Summit, announces that sometime during the month of September, driving while intoxicated saturations will be conducted in Pettis and Cass counties.
The saturations are part of the continuing effort by the Missouri State Highway Patrol to remove intoxicated drivers from our highways. Members of the Highway Patrol will concentrate their efforts on highways based on a high number of alcohol-related crashes and enforcement contacts.
Captain Powell stated, “Do not let your life or someone else’s life be ruined by an alcohol-related crash or arrest. If you are going to drink, have a plan. Make sure that plan includes a designated-driver.”
