EMPHASIS: Dent County Resident Arrested For Manufacturing Marijuana

On October 15, 2007, following a lengthy investigation, Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers, with the assistance of the Dent County Sheriff’s Department and the South Central Drug Task Force, served a search warrant at the residence of Joseph J. Adamick, 51, located approximately five miles west of Salem, MO, on Missouri Highway 32. During the search, officers located five drying marijuana plants, approximately 3/4 of a pound of processed marijuana, and paraphernalia.
Adamick was arrested for the following offenses: felony possession of marijuana, cultivating or manufacturing marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Adamick was incarcerated in the Dent County Jail following his arrest.
The charges for which Adamick has been arrested are mere accusations and are not evidence of his guilt. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
