EMPHASIS: Results Of 10-Mile Trooper Operation

Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H in St. Joseph, announces the results of a two-day enforcement operation in Troop H. The 10-Mile Trooper operation was conducted on Interstate 29 on September 3 and September 6, 2010.
The following are the totals from the enforcement operation:
DWI -- 1
Speed (trucks) -- 5
Speed (cars) – 143
Careless driving--1
Failed to yield --3
Seat belt -- 15
Child restraint -- 3
Other hazardous motor vehicle -- 1
Following too close -- 6
Non-moving -- 19
Driver’s license -- 8
Uninsured motorists -- 4
Misdemeanor warrants – 5
Other misdemeanor arrests--1

Troopers also wrote 404 warnings.
