EMPHASIS: Results Of Hazardous Moving Operation


Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H in St. Joseph, announces the results of a special traffic enforcement operation. The hazardous moving operation was conducted on July 18, 2008, in Andrew County. The program is designed to target drivers that are operating motor vehicles in a hazardous manner.
A total of eight troopers were assigned to the four-hour operation. Troopers stopped a total of 52 vehicles and issued 28 summonses and 64 warnings. The following is a breakdown of the arrests:
Speeding -- 5
Seat Belt -- 12
Commercial Vehicle Arrest -- 1
Non-moving -- 6
No Driver’s License -- 1
Uninsured Motorist -- 2
Signal light -- 1
