EMPHASIS: Kentucky Residents Arrested In Randolph County Following Narcotics Investigation

On September 23, 2015, five Kentucky residents were arrested in Randolph County, following a report and investigation of individuals attempting to fraudulently obtain controlled substances at a pharmacy in Moberly, Missouri. During the investigation the individuals were determined to be attempting to fill prescriptions from the state of Florida.
Angela S. Turner, 40, of Booneville, Kentucky, was arrested for felony fraudulently attempting to obtain a controlled substance, and felony possession of a controlled substance - Hydrocodone. Ginger C. Meadley, 51, of Mount Sterling, Kentucky; Scotty Harris, 34, of Booneville, Kentucky; Bernice Coffey, 57, of Booneville, Kentucky; and Kenneth E. Browning, 48, of Corbin, Kentucky, were all arrested for felony fraudulently attempting to obtain a controlled substance. All of the suspects are currently being held at the Randolph County Jail on a 24-hour hold pending issuance of warrants.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Moberly Police Department conducted the investigation.
The charges for which the individuals were arrested are mere accusations and are not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is determine guilt or innocence.
