EMPHASIS: Results Of Driving While Intoxicated Checkpoint


On September 13, 2008, a sobriety checkpoint was conducted in Nodaway County. A total of 10 troopers were assigned to the four-hour operation.
No citations were issued during the checkpoint. Troopers issued 15 warnings to motorists for minor violations. A total of 165 vehicles came into the checkpoint.
Captain Duane L. Robinson stated, “It is always encouraging when we find that all of the drivers checked are sober.”
