EMPHASIS: Troop H Announces Results Of Hazardous Moving Operation


Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H in St. Joseph, announces the results of a special operation conducted on February 18, 2009, in Buchanan County. The focus of the operation is drivers who are operating a motor vehicle in a hazardous manner.
The enforcement program was conducted on Interstate 29 and U.S. Highway 36, and consisted of six troopers. The program was four hours in length. A total of 25 citations were issued during the program. This total includes, 13 speeding violations, eight non-moving violations, two seat belt violations, one driver’s license violation, and one misdemeanor warrant arrest. Troopers also issued a total of 54 warnings during this operation.
