EMPHASIS: New Trooper Assigned To Lafayette County


Captain Vincent J. Ellis, commanding officer of Troop A, announces the assignment of a new trooper in Lafayette County. Trooper Joshua C. Utz was assigned to Zone 9, Lafayette County, effective July 13, 2007.
Trooper Utz graduated from the Patrol Academy on July 13, 2007. He began his training on January 8, 2007. Academy training covers all facets of law enforcement activities.
Trooper Utz is a graduate of East Buchanan High School in Gower, Missouri, and Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri, where he received a bachelor’s of science degree in criminal justice.
