EMPHASIS: Results From DWI Checkpoint, Jasper County.



On Friday evening, April 3, 2009, the Missouri State Highway Patrol in conjunction with Jasper County Sheriff’s Office conducted a DWI checkpoint. The checkpoint, located at Missouri Route 43 and Fountain Road, was determined by past arrests, incidents, and traffic crashes in the county.

In four hours of operation the checkpoint netted:

DWI 5

Seat Belt 8

Child Restraint 1

DL/DW Revoked 8

Other Misd. 10
