EMPHASIS: Promotion Of Troop F Officer
Captain Gregory D. Kindle, commanding officer, Troop F, Missouri State Highway Patrol, announced that effective January 1, 2014, Corporal James E. Lowary, Troop F, was promoted to the rank of sergeant. He will assume the responsibilities of Zone Supervisor, Zone 18, Miller County.
Lowary is a 1995 graduate of Quincy High School, Quincy, Illinois, and a 1999 graduate of Missouri Southern State College, Joplin, Missouri, with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice.
Lowary became employed with the Missouri State Highway Patrol on January 18, 2004. After graduating from the Missouri State Highway Patrol Academy, he was assigned to Troop F, Zone 4, Audrain County. In May 2006, he transferred to Troop F, Zone 5, Camden and Miller counties. On July 1, 2011, he was promoted to corporal in Troop F, Zone 1, Cole County. On October 1, 2012, Lowary transferred to Troop F, Zone 16, serving as a marine operations trooper at Lake of the Ozarks. Sergeant Lowary is married and has one child.
