EMPHASIS: Temporary Changes At Stockton And Mt. Vernon Driver Examination Stations


Captain Juan Villanueva, commanding officer of Troop D, Springfield, announces temporary changes at two driver examination stations. On Friday, September 27, 2013, the Stockton DE Station will not be administering the motorcycle skills test. All other testing will be conducted. The motorcycle skills testing in Stockton will resume on Friday, October 4, 2013. On Friday, October 11, 2013, the Mt. Vernon DE Station will be closed all day. The nearest examination stations open for testing this day are in Joplin and Springfield. Hours for testing at both Joplin and Springfield are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Testing in Mt. Vernon will resume on Friday, October 18, 2013. The public may contact the Driver Examination Division at Troop D with any questions. Please call 417-895-6767, extension 3433.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol encourages motorists and watercraft operators to protect themselves by making sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint and everyone in the vessel is wearing an approved life jacket. Click It 4 Life and Wear It!!!
