EMPHASIS: Troop I Announces May Special Enforcement Projects

Captain Lee Ann H. Kenley, commanding officer of Troop I, announces that two special enforcement projects will be conducted during the month of May within the six-county Troop I area. These include a DWI saturation in Crawford County and a DWI sobriety checkpoint, which will be held in Pulaski County.
“In 2009, approximately three out of every ten traffic fatalities in Missouri was alcohol related,” said Captain Kenley. “Some of the issues we face are difficult to solve, but this one is not. Simply make the decision to not drink and drive and encourage others to do the same. Remember, your life or the life of another may depend on the choice you make.”
