EMPHASIS: Results Of Hazardous Motor Vehicle Operation In Webster County

Captain Juan Villanueva, commanding officer, Troop D, Springfield, announces the results of a hazardous motor vehicle saturation that was held in Webster County on April 12, 2015. The following is a list of enforcement contacts for the operation:

25 -- Speed Violations
37 -- Seat Belt Violations
6 -- Uninsured Motorists Offenses
5 -- Driver’s License Violations
9 -- Non-Moving Citations
1 -- Other Hazardous Moving Arrest
2 -- Misdemeanor Drug Arrests
92 -- Warnings
74 -- Vehicles Stopped

Captain Villanueva stated, “Motorists traveling on Missouri’s roadways can expect that members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol will be striving to do all we can to rid our roads of unsafe drivers. Please help us by being the safest driver you can possibly be. Always pay attention to the task of driving, and please wear your seat belt at all times.”

In support of "The Drive To ZERO Highway Deaths," the Patrol encourages motorists to protect themselves and their passengers by making sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint.
