EMPHASIS: Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Operation

Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H in St. Joseph, announces the results of a commercial vehicle enforcement operation.
The eight-hour operation was conducted in Buchanan County on July 30, 2007. Four troopers and two commercial vehicle officers were assigned to the project.
A total of 15 arrests were made during the operation. This total includes five speeding, one non-moving, one uninsured motorist, four seat belt, and four commercial vehicle violations. There were also 79 warnings written for violations. During the operation, a total of 17 commercial vehicles and 27 non-commercial vehicles were stopped.
