EMPHASIS: Captain Dwayne F. Isringhausen Retires

Colonel Ron Replogle, superintendent of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, announces the retirement of Captain Dwayne F. Isringhausen, Troop G, after over 35 years of dedicated service to the citizens of Missouri. His retirement is effective March 1, 2014.

Captain Isringhausen was appointed to the Patrol on January 15, 1979, as a member of the 49th Recruit Class. After graduation from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy, he was initially assigned to Troop A, Zone 12, Ray County. In 1984, he transferred to Troop D, Zone 9, Dade County. He was promoted to corporal and designated assistant zone commander of Zone 9, on December 1, 1990. He transferred to the Division of Drug and Crime Control, General Headquarters, on March 1, 1991. Isringhausen was promoted to sergeant on January 1, 1996, and remained in the Division of Drug and Crime Control. On October 1, 1999, he was promoted to lieutenant and transferred to Troop G, Willow Springs, MO. On July 1, 2010, Isringhausen was promoted to captain and named troop commander of Troop G. It is from this position that he retires.

Captain Isringhausen was born in Staunton, IL. He graduated from Edwardsville Senior High School in Edwardsville, IL, in 1974. He earned a bachelor's of arts degree in religion at Southwest Baptist College in Bolivar, MO, in 1978. He graduated from the Federal Bureau of Investigation's National Academy in Quantico, VA, in 2004. Capt. Isringhausen and his wife, Sharon (Todd), have four grown children: Bradley, Mark, and Seth Isrinhausen, and Tara Thomas. They also have four grandsons and one granddaughter.
