EMPHASIS: Troop B Officers To Conduct DWI Saturation In Lewis County During The Month Of October 2010



Captain James E. Wilt, commanding officer of Troop B, Macon, announces that sometime during the month of October 2010, Troop B officers will be conducting a Selective Traffic Enforcement Operation (DWI Saturation) in Lewis County. During the enforcement operation, troopers will focus their attention on impaired drivers, speeding, hazardous moving violations, and other traffic violations that contribute to traffic crashes.
"The Missouri State Highway Patrol is committed in making our highways safer," stated Captain Wilt. "The goal of these traffic enforcement operations is to reduce traffic crashes. Please do your part by being a responsible driver, and making sure all occupants are restrained."
