Troop I officers made ten DWI arrests last year over the Labor Day weekend counting period.
As a part of “Operation C.A.R.E.” (Combined Accident Reduction Effort) over the holiday weekend, Troop I officers issued 341 citations for speed, 77 citations for seat belt violations, and three citations for child restraint violations. Troopers also assisted 129 motorists and issued 557 warnings.
