EMPHASIS: Troopers Gear Up For The Marijuana Growing Season

Finding illegal drug growers is not just a problem for law enforcement, but also a concern of each citizen. Marijuana growers try to hide their illegal activity and the Missouri State Highway Patrol will be spending time finding these illegal growers and the drugs that adversely affect our schools and communities.
Troop H is asking for support from citizens to increase the success of the program. If someone observes any unusual activity and feels that it might be a marijuana growing operation in either a rural or urban area, do not investigate on your own. Contact Troop H headquarters at 816-387-2345, or the Patrol’s “Bad Weed” hotline at 1-800-Bad-Weed. Persons using the free hotline can remain anonymous and the Missouri State Highway Patrol investigates all calls.
