EMPHASIS: Patrol Donates Seized Equipment To Mineral Area College


Captain Ronald S. Johnson, commanding officer, Troop C, Weldon Spring, announces the donation of seized equipment from two cases investigated by the Mineral Area Drug Task Force and the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The seized equipment includes numerous items such as humidifiers, electronic scales, air conditioners, growing buckets, CO2 regulators, growing lights, and exhaust fan systems used to grow marijuana.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol will host a press conference at Troop C Headquarters on Thursday, January 6, 201l, at 11:30 a.m. to make a formal announcement about the donation of the equipment to Mineral Area College’s Horticulture Department, which will be able to use the equipment for educational purposes. Mr. Gil Kennon, vice president of college affairs and dean of career and technical education at Mineral Area College, will attend the press conference.
The items to be presented to Mineral Area College have been approved for donation by the courts of jurisdiction in both cases and will be on display at the press conference.
