EMPHASIS: Patrol Offering New Safe Driving Program

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is pleased to announce a new traffic safety program for teenage and adult drivers entitled, “How to Save a Life”. This new traffic safety program is a 16-minute video appropriate for drivers high school age and older. This new video highlights four risky behaviors of drivers through photographs, music, and testimonials from victims and family members. Those risky behaviors consist of drinking and driving, failure to use seat belts and child safety seats, speeding, and inattentive driving.
Captain Vincent J. Ellis, commanding officer, Troop A, encourages anyone in the Troop A area interested in scheduling this program for their group, club, or school to contact Sergeant Dan Green at 816-622-0800, extension 273, or Sergeant Scott E. Meyer at 816-622-0800, extension 259. There is no cost for the program.
