Captain James E. McDonald, commanding officer of Troop H, St. Joseph, announces effective May 1, 2016, Trooper Erica Crabtree transferred from Troop A to Troop H. She will be assigned to Zone 6, which serves the citizens of Andrew and Buchanan counties.

Trooper Crabtree, a native of Sedalia, Missouri, was appointed to the Patrol on January 16, 2013, and after graduating from the Patrol Academy, she was assigned to Troop A, Zone 14, which serves the citizens of Bates County. She graduated from Pettis County R-V High School in Hughesville, Missouri. She holds a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri.

The only 100 percent survivable traffic crash is the one that never happens. Make sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint. Every day as we travel on Missouri's roadways, we trust that every driver on the road is going to obey the speed limit, pay attention, and drive sober.
"Don't Violate The Trust."
